RCF ART 912-A Active Box digital ART 912-A The RCF ART 9 series is a technology leader and sets the standard in the ninth generation of loudspeakers in the upper class of mobile, active PA speakers. Premium components RCF is one of the few manufacturers to have its own development and production of all important key components in loudspeaker construction. The ART 910-A takes advantage of this high vertical range of manufacture with a new, powerful 10" woofer with 2.5" voice coil and a 1" compression driver with 1.75" voice coil and state-of-the-art polyamide capton diaphragm. Thus, the entire ART series with innovative components benefits from RCF, s own manufacturing in Reggio Emilia. DSP technology The in-house team of specialists has perfectly tuned all speaker components. This dynamic tuning is controlled by a modern signal processor that implements the following functions, among others: Protection circuits: The ART 9 series is protected against problematic signals at the input and output, making the ART 910-A a reliable partner, even under difficult conditions. In addition to classic functions such as protection against overload or DC current, the new Bass Motion Control technology, for example, protects against excessive excursions of the woofer without the negative acoustic effects of a classic limiter. Bass Motion Control Monitoring the actual excursion of the woofer when reproducing particularly low frequencies ensures high operational reliability and prevents damage to the loudspeaker. It also ensures a consistent acoustic impression even at very high volumes. Negative side effects of classic limiters in the bass range are thus consistently avoided. FiRPHASE Modern FiRPHASE filters ensure linearized phasing and thus clear low-frequency reproduction and impressively natural midrange and high-frequency reproduction, even at high sound pressures. At the same time, the FiRPHASE filter tuning replaces conventional filters with their often disturbing characteristics, especially in the transition area between woofer and tweeter driver, and ensures particularly transparent and natural reproduction quality. True Resistive Waveguide The new shape and positioning of the bass reflex ports, combined with our FiRPHASE technology, ensure that ART900 loudspeakers acoustically merge tweeter and woofer into a single sound source for a perfect sound image. Our TRW waveguide mimics a resonance-free and purely resistive load. This helps avoid high-frequency distortion from a classic horn in front of the tweeter. The dispersion angle of the waveguide with its asymmetrical shape ensures a matched radiation. This ensures consistent volume, a perfect stereo image and homogeneous sound throughout the audience area.
