System-optimized: The frameset, wheels, cockpit and other parts have been developed and tested together to work as a system. The all-new OverDrive aero steerer technology is combined with a Contact SL AeroLight stem and Contact SL handlebar to incorporate internal cable routing that unites the TopCap , cables and spacers in a more aerodynamic, user-friendly configuration. Superior efficiency: With a better stiffness-to-weight ratio than the last generation, new aerodynamic tube shapes and a lower overall weight, this no-compromise road bike offers explosive acceleration and unrelenting pedaling stiffness. Integrated aerodynamics: All tube shapes were developed and designed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling and wind tunnel testing. From the truncated elliptical shape of the frame tubes to a new cockpit design and the integration of components, it all adds up to a slimmer profile that significantly improves aerodynamics compared to the previous generation.
