System-optimized: The frame, wheels, cockpit and other parts have been designed, developed and tested to work optimally as a system. The all-new OverDrive Aero steerer technology is combined with a Contact SL AeroLight stem and Contact SL handlebar to provide internal cable routing that integrates the top cap, cables and spacers in an aerodynamic, user-friendly setup. Outstanding efficiency: Thanks to a better stiffness-to-weight ratio than the previous generation, the new shape of the aero tubes and a lower overall weight, this no-compromise road bike offers explosive acceleration and unyielding pedaling stiffness. Holistic aerodynamics: All tube shapes were developed and designed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling and wind tunnel testing. From the truncated elliptical shape of the frame tubes to a new cockpit design and component integration, it all adds up to a sleeker profile that significantly improves aerodynamics compared to the previous generation.
