Highlights of the Giant TRANCE X 2 - 29" Mountain Bike - 2022 29er Confidence and Control - 29-inch wheels are optimal for rolling over technical terrain with balance and stability. Giving you more momentum on tricky climbs and confidence to fly on fast singletrack descents. Additional clearance for up to 2.5-inch tires. Progressive Suspension - The Maestro rear suspension features a Trunnion Mount shock that has a longer stroke for a smoother feel. With 135mm of travel at the rear (and 150mm at the front), it provides more stiffness and strength, as well as a lower overall frame weight, via a Advanced Forged Composite upper swingarm. Adjustable Geometry - A Flip-Chip allows you to change the head tube angle, seat tube angle, and bottom bracket height to fine-tune the ride. You can choose the low position (65.5/77.2 head tube angle and 40mm bottom bracket height) for fast, open terrain or the high position (66.2/77.9 head tube angle and 30mm bottom bracket height) for slower, tighter singletrack. GIANT Technologies Advanced Forged Composite Technology - This high-pressure molding process produces components with complex shapes that are lighter and stronger than aluminum or standard composite parts. ALUXX SL Aluminum Techonolgy - The high performance material is predominantly 6011 aluminum alloy for an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio.
