With oversized headset bearings (1-1/4" at the bottom and 1-1/8" at the top) and a tapered steerer tube, this system offers the ideal balance of steering stiffness and responsiveness. The seatpost features a D-shaped carbon steerer that better absorbs road vibrations without the need for mechanical devices or special inserts. The optimized carbon layup increases compliance and provides a smoother ride feel. The Contact SL D-Fuse carbon handlebar with D-shaped tubes, is tailored to women's hands and features an 8-degree Flare Drop to improve comfort and stability in different terrain and conditions. It also offers greater tensile stiffness for more efficiency during sprints and climbs. The Contact Aerolight carbon stem routes the cables from the handlebars through the frame, creating an aerodynamic cockpit that improves both performance and aesthetics for an optimal riding experience. An oversized bottom bracket area offers a fully integrated, 86 mm wide design. Asymmetrical chainstays provide additional stiffness on the drive side and stability on the non-drive side.
