A resonant glue joint, on the other hand, connects the maple neck, whose Thin-'U' profile is slightly slimmer and emphasizes classic techniques from fingerpicking to chord playing. This anniversary model is rounded off by the cloud maple top. Blacktop Broad'Tron Pickups The two Blacktop Broad'Tron humbuckers used in neck and bridge position are a true classic among Gretsch instruments and produce powerful dual-coil sounds with a clear mid note. The Output of both pickups is tuned to each other to provide balanced sounds even in the intermediate position.
