For absolute precision and speed, the Ibanez Jake Bowen JBM9999-AMM Azure Metallic matte features a 5-strip maple and walnut neck with a slim JBM profile. This offers an ebony fingerboard that features an extended tonal range thanks to 27-fret fretting for unrestricted playability in the highest fingerboard positions. Via an Ibanez All-Access Neck Joint, the neck is bolted to the linden body in the ergonomically contoured RGA design. DiMarzio Mirage Humbucker The two DiMarzio Mirage pickups in neck and bridge position are the result of the collaboration between Jake Bowen and US pickup giant DiMarzio and provide absolute killer tones of modern metal. While the bridge humbucker is classically built with a custom cover, the neck pickup is designed as a humbucker in single-coil format and additionally slanted to elicit a balanced output of all six strings in drop-C tuning from the neck position placed behind the 27th fret.
