The Pinion is extremely solid and reliable, a true expedition bike. Almost all components are made in Germany, representing the possibilities of state-of-the-art engineering. Also extremely durable and almost maintenance-free is the Pinion gear shift and the toothed belt used. The frame geometry with the sloping top tube allows for a wide range of legroom and seating positions from sporty stretched to comfortable upright. The gearbox and lighting system are colour-coordinated for a beautiful look. The steel fork provides comfort through high vibration absorption. The adjustable dropouts not only make mounting easier, but also ensure 700C & 650B wheel compatibility. In addition to the SON hub dynamo and the SON headlight, the basic equipment also includes the in-house Rennstahl luggage racks and the SKS mudguards.
