The Glockenklang Blue Bird bass amplifier offers extensive but intuitive options for adjusting the optimal bass sound. Flexible equalization The heart of the Glockenklang Blue Bird Head is undoubtedly the enormously flexible active equalizer with five carefully selected frequency bands. While the bass and treble controls of the EQ have fixed center frequencies, the pots for high and low mids each offer two switchable frequency settings. The midrange control, which is responsible for the particularly important areas of the bass sound, is also semi-parametric and has its own potentiometer for precisely selecting the frequency range to be boosted or cut. To tame instruments with particularly strong low frequencies, the Blue Bird bass stop also features a bass cut that can be adjusted between 20 Hz and 80 Hz.
