Eddie Van Halen Stripe Series WBS White/Black Stripes B-Stock Eddie van Halen is considered one of the most innovative and influential rock guitarists of the 20th century. He became incredibly successful together with his band Van Halen, but has also featured on the albums from many other popular musicians, including Michael Jackson to name just one. The design of the EVH Stripe Series is orientated towards Eddie's personally crafted and lacquered guitars, in particular the legendary "Frankenstrat". The body of the EVH Stripe Series is crafted from Linden wood to which the neck is bolted-on. The neck, as well as the fretboard, is crafted from maple and features graphite reinforcements. Comfortable playability is provided by the oil finish of the neck in combination with the compound fretboard radius and the jumbo frets. The single EVH Wolfgang humbucker in the bridge position delivers the typical Van Halen sound. One Master Volume control is available for sound adjustment. The Floyd Rose Tremolo guarantees a precise tuning of the guitar even after heavy Whammy Bar actions and Divebombs. It is also equipped with the patented D-Tuna developed by Eddie van Halen, which allows the E string to be tuned to D in seconds.
